Dr Punam Suri is an Indian educator, journalist and recipient of the Padma Shri Suri is president of the D.A.V. College Managing Committee and Chancellor of DAV University. He cherishes a deep concern for the Arya Samaj and it’s programmes of social reform and national upliftment. Under his leadership Arya Yuva Samaj has launched numerous effective programmes on eradication of dowery system, female infanticide and corruption. Sh. Suri is a reputed journalist bringing out ‘The Daily Milap’ the largest Urdu Daily of India, as its Managing Editor. The renowned daily has been awarded at national level for safety, ‘Human Rights’ and ‘Sarva Dharm Samman’.
