Sarla Chopra DAV Public School organized a Blood Donation and Health Check-up camp in the school on 25th November 2023, an event which has become an annual feature. This was organized by the Interact Club of the school, in collaboration with the Rotary Club, Noida City.

The aim to organize such a camp was to not only aware the children and the parents about the importance of a regular health check-up but also to make accessible to them such a facility easily. 

A team of specialist doctors from J.P. Hospitals were kind enough to spare their valuable time to come to the school. Dr. Ambrish, pediatrician, Dr. D.S.Agarkar, ENT Specialist and Dr. Burbon, an orthopediatrician , were present to not only perform the check-ups but also shared their valuable advice with parents, staff and students on how to lead a healthy lifestyle. Parents, staff and students enthusiastically participated in the health check-up.

Parents and school staff also participated actively in the noble cause of donating blood. The School Principal, Mrs. Chitra Kant, not only appreciated the efforts of the Interact Club Incharge Ms. Geetu Sabharwal took this initiative but she herself donated blood. She also appreciated the parents' positive response towards the school's initiative.
