Happy DAV Foundation Day !
It is the day when in the memory of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, in 1886, the first DAV Institution, D.A.V. College at Lahore was established with the efforts of Mahatma Hansraj. Let's salute Mahatma Hansraj ji, a great teacher whose exemplary dedication worked as a seed which has turned into a big tree spreading its branches all over India and  brought fruit which the Lacs and Lacs of people have enjoyed and are enjoying. Today, the D.A.V. College Managing Committee, familiarly known as DAVCMC, is the largest non-government educational organisation in India and overseas with over 900 schools, 75 colleges and a university. We all feel proud to be a part of such great organisation and stand committed to tread on the footprints of teachers like him and take the flag of DAV flying higher and higher.
