SC DAV Public School Honored for Environmental Excellence
On World Cleanup Day 2025 (September 20),SC DAV Public School,Noida was felicitated with a Special Honour for All-Round Performance and Environmental Sustainability under the My Clean City – Waste Champions Programme by HCL Foundation in association with Lending Hands Foundation. The school stood out among Noida and Greater Noida schools for its successful adoption of composting bags and production of high-quality, large-quantity compost, setting a benchmark in waste management.
Principal Ms. Upasana Sharma applauded the efforts of Ms. Diksha Gupta and Ms. Neena Bhardwaj for their immense involvement in motivating and encouraging the future leaders. The display of Best out of waste ,by art department was also well appreciated by all.
The award was conferred in the esteemed presence of Mr. S. P. Singh, General Manager – Public Health, Noida Authority, and Mr. Alok Varma, Project Director – Samuday & My Clean City, HCL Foundation. The event witnessed the participation of over 2,000 people.
