Sarla Chopra D.A.V. Public School, Noida organised a Parent Orientation Session under Project MATE (Mind Activation Through Education) on 29 August 2026. The session aimed to sensitise and orient parents about the objectives, significance and implementation of the project.

The session was graced by Dr. nand Kumar, professor Department of Psychiatry, AIIMS, New Delhi, along with the esteemed dr Deepika dahima and ms . priyanka tandon (AIIMS team). The resource persons provided valuable insights into the importance of mental health, emotional well-being and holistic development of children. Parents were also sensitised about the role of family and school in creating a supportive environment for children's mental and emotional well-being.

The programme was a meaningful step towards promoting awareness, early support and holistic well-being of students through the collaborative vision of Project MATE.
