Sarla Chopra D.A.V. Public School, Noida, organised a *series of counselling and parenting workshops* for parents of *Grades 6, 7 and 8*, focusing on children’s emotional well-being, healthy communication and positive parenting. The *Grade 6* workshop, held on 11 September, was themed *“Your Home Shapes Your Brain.”* It highlighted how a child’s home environment influences emotional development, behaviour, confidence and overall well-being. The *Grade 7* counselling session held on 16th September 2026, was themed *“Uplifting Self and Exploring the Cave of Emotions,”* helped parents understand the emotional needs of adolescents and encouraged empathetic communication, emotional regulation and stronger parent-child connections. For *Grade 8, workshop , held on 15th September 2026 , was themed “Nurturing Constructive Teens”* addressed the challenges of adolescence and guided parents on responding constructively to changing behaviours, emotional needs and developmental concerns. The sessions were conducted by *Ms. Swati Jain, Counselling Psychologist*, through interactive discussions and practical examples. The initiative reinforced the school’s commitment to strengthening families and nurturing emotionally secure, confident and resilient young individuals of counselling.
