The school has organized an Environment Awareness programme under the aegis of OISCA (North India). This project is supported by Forest Department and Japan International Cooperate Agency (JICA. On 30th August, in continuation of this project a Japanese Delegation along with senior officials paid a visit to the school. The Director of OISCA, Ms Ritu Prasad also graced the occasion. The Japanese Delegation included Mr Kaotu Hayashi (from Bunkyo University,Japan) and 10scholars.
The esteemed huests were welcomed by the principal Ms I P Bhatia who gave them a warm 'Abhinandan' and emphasized the need to make students aware of their surroundings. She congratulated Mr B Prabhakar - a senior forest officer for sensitizing the students by organizing various events. She further informed that the students of the school have planted 2200 trees and have pledged to nurture them.
True to the Indian cultural beliefin 'Atithi Devo Bhava' the school choir prepared a welcome song for the guests and students presented a spectacular cultural programme which was followed by Exhibition based on 'best out of the waste' (A wake - up call to save Environment).
